  • Intro to Standing Poses & Active Styles of Yoga

    Sunday, August 9th from 6:00-8:30pm

We’ll break down typical poses you’d see in a vinyasa-style yoga class and give you the opportunity to explore the right setup for your body and feeling out the intended muscular engagement to promote steadiness. We’ll play with some transitions so you know how to get from one place to another as we build into sun salutations. This session also includes an overview of many common active styles of yoga so you know what it means when a schedule lists classes called hatha, vinyasa, ashtanga, etc.
